Śledzenie wydarzeń w Google Analytics 4 przez Google Tag Manager

Jeśli używasz Google Analytics 4 („GA”) przez Google Tag Manager („GTM”), konieczne jest skonfigurowanie kilku dodatkowych ustawień w GTM, aby uzyskać rejestrowanie wydarzeń czatu na żywo w GA.

1. Zaloguj się na swoje konto GTM, przejdź do sekcji „Tagi” i kliknij na przycisk „Nowe”.
   
2. Click on the “Tag Configuration” and choose the “Google Analytics: GA4 Event” option.
   
3. In the “Configuration Tag” drop-down list, choose your Google Analytics GA4 Configuration Tag. In this tutorial, we have choosen the “Google Analytics GA4 Configuration”, which we have already created in the past and which represents our GA4 Configuration Tag.
4. Hit the macro button in the “Event Name” section.
   
1. Kliknij na przycisk „+” w prawym górnym rogu.
2. Kliknij na „Zmienna konfiguracja” i wybierz „Zmienna warstwy danych” z listy dostępnych opcji.
   
3. In the “Data Layer Variable Name” field, type in “eventAction” and click on the “Save” button.
   
4. You will be asked to rename your Variable. Name it e.g. “GA Event Lime Talk Action” and save changes.
5. Expand the “Event Parameters” heading:
1. Click on the “Add Row” button. In the “Parameter Name” field, type in e.g. “category”. In the “Value” field, hit the macro button and in the same way as described in steps 4.1 - 4.4, create new variable. “Data Layer Variable Name” must be “eventCategory”. Your name can be e.g. “GA Event Lime Talk Category”.
2. Click on the “Add Row” button. In the “Parameter Name” field, type in e.g. “label”. In the “Value” field, hit the macro button and in the same way as described in steps 4.1 - 4.4, create new variable. “Data Layer Variable Name” must be “eventLabel”. Your name can be e.g. “GA Event Lime Talk Label”.
3. Click on the “Add Row” button. In the “Parameter Name” field, type in e.g. “value”. In the “Value” field, hit the macro button and in the same way as described in steps 4.1 - 4.4, create new variable. “Data Layer Variable Name” must be “eventValue”. Your name can be e.g. “GA Event Lime Talk Value”.

6. Kliknij na „Wyzwalanie” dostępne poniżej.
   
7. Kliknij na przycisk „+” w prawym górnym rogu.
8. Kliknij na „Konfiguracja wyzwalacza” i wybierz „Dostosuj wydarzenie” z listy dostępnych opcji.
   
9. W polu „Nazwa wydarzenia” wpisz „gaEventLimeTalk” i kliknij na „Zapisz”.
   
10. Zostaniesz poproszony o zmianę nazwy swojego wyzwalacza. Nazwij do np. „GA Event Lime Talk Trigger” i zapisz zmiany.
11. Dokończ klikając na przycisk „Zapisz” w prawym górnym rogu. Ponownie zostaniesz poproszony o zmianę nazwy swojego nowego tagu. Nazwij go np. „GA Event Lime Talk Tag” i zatwierdź zmiany poprzez kliknięcie na „Zapisz”.
12. Click on the “Submit“ button and publish your changes in the Workspace.

If you have the option “Send events to Google Analytics” activated in the settings in your Lime Talk client zone, events should be now recorded in GA.
